We hear and see those a lot, don't we?
People who are desperately and quickly trying to achieve that "magazine cover" body are often lured for those trusting that this is the magic secret that will help them achieve the goal.
Nowadays, with the indulgent food industry growing, portions of food scaling up our society has been growing in numbers of obesity. And you don't become obese in one day, it takes you time, years. I see many kids already having problems with weight. Why ? Parents don't have time to cook, the opt for quick fix or prefer to give them that piece of chocolate for them to not be crying. Moreover, people have this "I deserve" attitude that allows them to eat unhealthy everyday because they think they deserve. You deserve to be healthy, thats what your attitude should be. And in the effect of this, we start to see more and more people around us struggling with weight gain. If your option is going towards the unhealthy way, this post is not for you, nor is it judging anyone.
And then come all of the hopes and quick fixes.
If I go keto i will loose weight. Intermittent fasting will make me reach my goal. I am not eating carbs what else I can do? Will this pill help me?
Anything of this, alone and quickly won't help you a lot let me tell you. The same way you spend years getting weight and destroying your health, now you need to give yourself time to recover that. If you keep unhealthy 10 years, do you really think you can recover this in one month?
Another thing to mention is that if you ever could loose some extra pounds very rapidly, first, you will also loose lots of muscle and we don't want that. Second and more important, by having poor diet for years you already are not healthy, believe me and by starving yourself to loose weight rapidly you just make your health worse. The body, our outside is not the most important thing you have. You need to start to recover yourself from the inside if you want your transformation to be sustainable.
And what are the health issues about poor diet?
You will become malnourished, and with this come all of the downsides. You may start to loose your hair, develop skin issues, be depressed and exhausted. But the most dangerous include developing type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease and others and all of this can lead to premature death.
Is it worth the poor diet?
